وافق الرئيس الأمريكي جوزيف بايدن، على إعلان ولايات فيرمونت وكونيتيكت ونيو هامبشاير وفيرمونت وكانساس ونبراسكا مناطق كوارث؛ بسبب الظروف الطارئة الناتجة عن العواصف والأعاصير الشديدة والفيضانات والانهيارات الأرضية التي وقعت في الفترات الماضية .
وأكد البيت الأبيض في بيان، أن الرئيس الأمريكي أمر بتقديم المساعدة الفيدرالية لتكملة جهود الاستجابة على مستوى تلك الولايات.
